Va dati seama, noi ne facem ca nu stim cine a facut Soarele asta cu reactiile lui nucleare si vrem sa controlam ce este pe Pamant, care are si el niste fierturi in burta !!

Da, Bogdane, asta ma impresionat si pe mine, acea gaura sau pata, dar nefiind de meserie am ezitat sa comentez. Stiu in principiu este \"nasol\". Daca fac fata centurile Van Hallen, poate avem noroc.
Intr-un documentar pe aceeasi tema, spuneau ca EI isi opresc satelitii, inclusiv pe SOHO, cand au furtuni solare.

:)) eu una te stiu glumet, dar pt restul lumii sa explicam jocul de cuvinte si sa spunem ca centurile care ne feresc de radiatii se numesc van Allen. iar van Halen a fost o formatie rock (o mai fi?)
 
Super interesante imaginile si comentarile. Eu fac parte dintre cei care nu stiu sa interpreteze acestre imagini ( am inceput sa vizitez acest site tocmai pt a \"invata\"), asa ca mi-ar prinde tare bine ceva explicatii.:rolleyes:clapping:

Da, iar am gresit! Surdu n-aude dar le potriveste. Si greselile fac parte din experienta. Insa am recunoscut de la inceput, ca nu sunt de meserie in domeniul asta, iar erorile sunt mai mult decat posibile. Fonemurile sunt usor de confundat, cand esti doar pe aproape.

EIT (Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope) images the solar atmosphere at several wavelengths, and therefore, shows solar material at different temperatures. In the images taken at 304 Angstrom the bright material is at 60,000 to 80,000 degrees Kelvin. In those taken at 171 Angstrom, at 1 million degrees. 195 Angstrom images correspond to about 1.5 million Kelvin, 284 Angstrom to 2 million degrees. The hotter the temperature, the higher you look in the solar atmosphere.

Urmarind datele de la NOAA, am observat o amplificare a activitatii in data de 5.07 si un indice Kp peste medie inregistrat astazi 22.07. Poate sa ofere cineva mai multe explicatii? Am observat ca exista o legatura intre aceste grafice. Multumesc anticipat.

NLC ALERT: \"While India and China were enjoying a total solar eclipse, here in Europe we were treated to a sky show of our own,\" says Tomasz Adam of Staszów, Poland, where the night sky lit up with intense noctilucent clouds (NLCs) on July 21st and 22nd. \"It was easily the best display I\'ve ever seen.\" A similar event last week heralded NLCs in the United States as far south as Nevada, Colorado and Utah. Sky watchers should be alert for more.

AURORA SURPRISE: Sometimes the auroras are so bright, you just can\'t sleep. \"I was up all night on July 21st, but it was totally worth it!\" says photographer Zoltan Kenwell of Chip Lake, Alberta. This is what kept him awake:

\"It was a very impressive show that lasted 4.5 hours!\" says Kenwell.

Forecasters did not predict this display. It began on when a seemingly minor solar wind stream hit Earth\'s magnetic field. The minor hit turned into a not-so-minor display because a crack opened in Earth\'s magnetic field, allowing solar wind to pour in and fuel the storm. Northern Lights descended as far south as the Dakotas, Montana, Iowa and Wisconsin. The solar wind is still blowing, but the crack has closed, bringing an end to the lights. :crybaby:
